Breakfast was fresh, simple, and tasty, served in a beautiful open-air room. Our hosts at the Casa were warm and helpful, and their son spoke perfect English and helped us book excursions. The room was lovely, renovated with care and sensitivity in the old buildings, and the whole stay felt like being at a Wellness Spa. It’s wonderfully peaceful, just a few kilometers from the beach and local restaurants, with great woodland walks nearby and natural river pools to swim in. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We spent four nights here and loved it. It’s a wonderful place to relax, and our hosts were so kind and welcoming. We didn’t have a car, but a taxi from the local town cost only 6/7euro, so getting by without one is manageable. Highly recommend.

You’ll need a car to reach restaurants, which is the one drawback. Otherwise, we loved the beautiful little valley setting, the restored rooms were exceptionally clean, and breakfast was lovely. The owner also gave us an interesting tour of the winery.

We had an amazing stay at this idyllic casa rural. Paco and Teresa told us how they became Albariño winemakers and decided to welcome tourists and wine enthusiasts into that world. Paco’s bodega tour was exceptional, the breakfast was great, and they have some amazing dogs too.
