Royal Marina Suites Boutique Hotel

We haven’t stayed here yet, but management showed us around after we passed it on the broadwalk. From what we saw, we’ll definitely book before long. It was built about two years ago and feels like a quiet, stylish place to stay, with sea views and a view of Puerto Calero Marina. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with three floors and around eight suites on each. The rooms are generously sized and well designed, all with two balconies facing the sea, plus sunbeds, a table and chairs. The pool area has a small gym, a pleasant lounge, a pool bar and the breakfast restaurant. The whole place has a romantic, designer feel. If you prefer all-inclusive stays, bear in mind that the hotel doesn’t serve food or drinks after about 6 or 7 pm. That needn’t be a problem, as the marina’s lovely bars and restaurants are a short walk away, or you could eat and drink on your own balcony.

We were deciding between RM and one of the big hotels in Playa Blanca, and staying here was the right call. The boutique hotel made the experience much more enjoyable. It’s quiet and relaxing, yet convenient for driving to different places. The room was incredible, especially the shower. Breakfast was very good, and it was always nice to sit by the pool bar. Highly recommended!

It’s a lovely place to unwind, with a great breakfast and a peaceful feel. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are lovely, and the location by the marina comes with amazing views. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that coffee pods and even bottled water in the room cost extra. At £250 a night, I feel those should be complimentary. Still, it’s a truly fantastic hotel.

We have two days of our holiday left and are already looking at booking again for January. This is easily the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in. Every room has a sea view from a huge balcony, and even the shower looks out to sea. The staff are always on hand, whether it’s to help with something or suggest places to visit, and they couldn’t do more to make us feel welcome. The cleanliness is second to none, absolutely immaculate. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!
