The owners, Félix and Matilde, were so kind, and Encarna was lovely when she served us breakfast. We were there this weekend for a family event and absolutely loved the beautiful hotel and its natural surroundings. The whole experience was excellent. We've already recommended this charming place to everyone around us, and we're certain we'll stay here whenever we return to the area.

We spent four days here, and they went by far too quickly. I'd love to come back soon. The hotel is in Puerto de Béjar, well placed for visiting the Sierra de Béjar, the Ambroz Valley, La Covatilla for snow, Baños de Montemayor and its Roman baths, and nearby Candelario and Hervás, with plenty of other places to explore too. The mountain water running through the little stream beneath the hotel and the wonderful views were lovely to experience. The rooms were comfortable and wonderfully clean, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic whirlpool tub for relaxing. The facilities and price were very good. Breakfast was spectacular, with local fruit, tasty tomatoes for toast, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, toast, cold cuts, fresh orange juice, and delicious homemade cake. Félix was always ready to help, gave us tips on places to visit, and made us feel at home with his kindness and hospitality. Encarna served those delicious breakfasts with such care, and Matilde was welcoming too. My family and I have travelled on vacation quite a few times and have never been treated so well. I absolutely recommend this hotel for its service, facilities, rooms, cleanliness, and location. Félix, you have friends here in Badajoz. Thanks for everything, and see you soon.

The scenery around the hotel is breathtaking, and the quiet setting was perfect for leaving behind everyday life, noise, pollution, and stress. My wife and I stayed at the end of September and were delighted with the place. Many thanks to Félix, Matilde, and Encarna for being so kind and attentive.

The bed linen left a lasting impression on me, with its subtle scent of orange blossom and sunshine, like a gentle touch that made each night feel like a bright embrace. This feels like a place with a soul in the mountains. It was once an old chocolate shop, and has been restored with patience and beautiful taste. Every stone and color seems chosen with care. The owner is warm and genuine, and tells the story of the house in a way that stays with you. You don't just sleep here, you let the place become part of you. A lovely rural retreat where the beauty of rural Spain meets the poetry of genuine hospitality. 🌿🌴
