4Dreams Hotel

We appreciated being able to check out at 12:00, and finding evening parking at Explanada del Muelle was easy. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk away. The room was roomy and comfortable, in a great location, and cleaned daily. One thing to know if you’re visiting in January: it got quite cold overnight.

The breakfast had a good daily choice of fruit and pastries, along with a cooked option. The hotel looks a little tired in places, but the rooms and shared areas were exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and made an effort to help us feel welcome. It’s also centrally placed for amenities. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

The buffet breakfast was reliably good, with enough variety to get the day going, even if it wasn’t anything amazing. What really stood out was the cleanliness: the whole property was cleaned every day, and the staff’s effort was remarkable. The rooms and fixtures are dated and could use a facelift, but that’s easy to overlook when everything is so spotless. 4Dreams is right in the middle of town, so getting to everything is easy. That central spot does come with noise, though. We knew that going in, and it’s part of staying in the thick of things. If you want easy access to town and don’t mind the hubbub, it’s a dependable choice.

We had a small balcony and enough room, and the rooftop terrace with its pool was the best part. The hotel is a little dated, but pristinely clean, which is what matters to me. Drilling from nearby construction woke us at 09:00 each morning. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and we had no complaints about the service or cleanliness.
