The hotel feels old, and the rooms seem stuck in the 80s. The hot water tank only gives you enough for one quick shower, then you have to wait 20 minutes. With four of us, that was tough after a day of travel. There’s a washing machine and dryer, but you pay at the machines. Cleaning isn’t done every day, and nobody mentioned that at check-in. Breakfast was good and changed every few days. It’s close to LORO park. Parking was a real hassle. Nearby street spaces were full on weekends, and even during the week you need some luck to find a spot close by. The hotel has no private parking.

Had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were lovely and available 24/7, and the breakfast buffet was good. There’s no reserved parking for hotel guests, but I could find a spot on a nearby road. I’d add a mirror and a fan to the gym.

The room was clean and had all the equipment we needed. It was a little small, but fine for the two of us. It got quite hot, though, and there’s no AC. The little fan didn’t do much. Breakfast was great, with lots to choose from, even pancakes. The gym and pool were nice to have, and there were always enough sunbeds. Staff spoke good English and were really helpful. I’d visit again, 4.5/5.

For the price, this was a really good stay. Our room was huge, almost like a private house, and had all the cooking appliances. The hotel was impressively clean, and breakfast changed daily, so there was always something different to eat. The pool was quite cold because it isn’t heated. There’s no private parking either, so finding a street spot could be a pain when we got back late. We felt safe, and it was a handy base for getting around Santa Cruz. We stayed three nights and would come back.
