The hotel worked well for our short stay, and the family room gave us two good-sized bedrooms and a large sitting area. It was very spacious and reasonably clean, though you could find signs of wear if you looked closely. The rooms felt dated, with some cracked tiles and one loose tile in a bedroom. Our toilet was leaking when we arrived, but maintenance fitted a new one the next day. The food was plentiful and regularly restocked, and the restaurant staff kept things moving so it never felt overcrowded. Nearby, there are plenty of shops and restaurants, places to walk by the sea, and a beach about ten minutes away. Bus stops and taxi ranks make it easy to go further. Staff were friendly, and it’s a nice basic hotel for a short break. The weather wasn’t great, which I understand is seasonal and not the hotel’s fault, but there was nowhere comfortable to sit inside in the evening. The lobby bar was closed, signs said not to eat or drink in the lobby, and the only option was a small indoor area where the entertainment was on. If the hotel is open when the weather may be poor, it should have somewhere else to sit indoors.

We had a great stay as a family. Every staff member was polite and went out of their way to help. Both pools were kept clean and tidy, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The food was good, and even my fussy teenager always found something to eat. The included Italian restaurant was a great choice. There’s tennis and table tennis too, with a small refundable deposit to hire equipment. The views from the tennis court are brilliant.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are sufficient, and the buffet has a good range, including options for vegetarians. Ask reception for a kettle. Staff throughout were polite and helpful, and the animation and entertainment teams from jumbo club and TUI put in loads of energy to get guests involved in the fun. The samba dancers and soul music band were fantastic. We were lucky to have sunshine every day. Davide, Peter, Corin, Nicole, Ainara, Charlotte Jorich, and Oceanna, our Suneo family, gave us lovely memories and became good friends. Thanks for making our holiday.

The lifeguard in the bright green shirt deserves a mention. He was constantly alert and on the move, and clearly takes his job seriously. We joked about how many kilometres he must cover in a day. You probably won’t drown on his watch, unless it’s between 5 and 6 p.m. while he’s helping collect the sunbeds and umbrellas. The buffet restaurant felt chaotic, with people rushing around, and wasn’t very relaxing. The hotel seems to cater mainly to British guests, which shapes the atmosphere. We also tried the Italian restaurant, but it wasn’t an improvement on the buffet. The room felt bland and the food was nothing special, so adjust your expectations if you want an intimate dinner, or eat elsewhere. All-inclusive didn’t cover everything either. The drinks were limited, and even basic things like ice creams weren’t included. The area didn’t offer much of a lively boulevard with shops or terraces, so we mostly relied on the hotel. On the first day, the animation was extremely loud, with blasting music and constant shouting into the microphone. Thankfully, the following days were calmer and manageable. We thought about trying the other pool, but it was too quiet and lifeless. Nothing was terrible, but everything felt mediocre, from the food and service to the drinks, room, and entertainment. We had an okay stay, but nothing memorable. For us it’s a 3 out of 5, and we don’t think we’d return.
