I’d definitely stay again after my first visit. The main strip and beach are a really short walk away, and the outdoor spaces were spotless. There are pools with loungers, plus a solarium with more loungers, a snack and drinks area with a pool table, and a children’s play area. There’s also a bar and food area outside the complex, and luggage storage is available. The rooms are modern and clean, with what you need for self-catering. Air conditioning and heating are in the lounge, and there’s a digital safe in the bedroom. The bathroom had lovely-smelling liquid hand soap and body and hair wash in the shower, though I brought my own. Reception is open 24 hours, and all the staff were friendly.

The campus was immaculate, and our beds were firm but comfortable. We booked at the last minute and still got a ground-floor room. The bathroom is a wet room. My only gripe was food storage: the kitchen cupboards were already full of bins and cooking utensils, so there wasn’t space for things like bread or cereal. Reception staff were exceptional and gave us useful local advice, including where to find the nearest supermarket and restaurants. It’s a very short, flat walk to the main strip. We were there in December, so there weren’t any sunbed wars at the time. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were friendly and the service was good, and the pool water was warm, which was lovely in winter. The apartments are in a good location. There’s no restaurant, so you’ll need to find breakfast elsewhere. It’s a budget hotel, so if you’re paying more, you might want to look at other options.

The bar staff were excellent, always friendly, with a good range of drinks and snacks throughout the day. Our room was basic but clean, spacious and comfortable, and we really enjoyed staying at Playa Club Apartments. It’s right near the main strip and only a short stroll to the beach, handy for exploring or relaxing. The sunbed wars are real. Getting a lounger felt impossible unless you were up at the crack of dawn. I had to get up at 2:30am one morning to secure one, and plenty were claimed overnight but not used until well into the afternoon. Also, jet washing around the pool every day until about 10am could disrupt breakfast or an early swim. It might make more sense after 6pm, when the pool closes. It was a clean, friendly place with a good atmosphere, and a great stay overall. A few tweaks could make it perfect.
