Aparthotel ILUNION Costa Sal Lanzarote

We had a perfect 10 for our last days and night, largely thanks to the activities host, HE'S AN ABSOLUTE 🌟. His volcanic-style table tennis, pool competitions with the kids and brilliant evening bingo were highlights. I still need more lessons to learn how to move my hips! 😄 We’ll definitely come back. The apartments are a bit old-fashioned but very well equipped. Since the beach isn’t very close, it’s easy to feel like staying in and enjoying the facilities. Staff are generally very friendly, and the food is good, if a little limited in variety.

We were here for four nights with friends. The hotel was very clean, service was great, and breakfast had a good selection. We didn’t eat much else at the hotel. The beach and bars are walkable from here. Highly recommend.

It was quiet here, with no discos or loud noise, which made the stay relaxing. The rooms were very clean and well equipped, and the hotel itself is beautiful with great amenities. Food was okay, pretty standard for a hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our seven nights and will return.

The late checkout was the biggest disappointment. We had a late flight and asked to keep the room longer, but reception said they needed to check with the manager and housekeeping, then turned us down because someone was supposedly checking in. There were plenty of rooms listed on their website, and nobody had taken our room by the time we left, so we can only assume housekeeping didn’t want to wait to clean it. We then had seven hours to kill before leaving. We had to check out at 11. We were otherwise happy with the stay and would return. The place is reasonably priced and great for nice weather. Our apartment had air conditioning only in the living room; when we asked for a bedroom fan on the first night, it was brought up quickly. The balcony looked over the pool by the restaurant and bar, with a view of the ocean. We worried the bar might be noisy, but it wasn’t an issue. We only tried breakfast on our last morning. It cost €16 per person and had a good buffet selection. Dinner was €26 per person and okay, though there are lots of nearby places to eat. There’s a shop or supermarket under reception for drinks and snacks, and a really good Spar about 10 minutes down the road. One day, the pool bar didn’t open at all.
