Gloria Izaro Club Hotel

We had a leak from the air conditioning, but it was fixed very quickly. Reception were always willing to go the extra mile, and the maid service was very good. Pedro in the main bar also gave great service. The pool was lovely and not too cold, and the pool bar staff were great. Prices were affordable, the homemade burgers were amazing, and takeaway was available too. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, even Prosecco if you fancied it, and dinner had lots to choose from and was very nice. The restaurant team worked so hard, they deserved a tip when we left. For the strip, a taxi is best, especially for the trip back. It was around €4 each way. From check-in to check-out, everything was amazing. Great hotel and staff who care. Thank you, Club Izaro. Pedro at the bar was a gentleman and never stopped working, and Raphael, who ran the pool sports and entertainment, was brilliant and great fun throughout. All the staff were friendly and very professional. The pool was great, with a separate kids' pool, and the rooms had plenty of space and comfy beds. Poolside bar food and drinks were 5 star, and breakfast had everything you wanted. Great hotel, we'll 100% be back.

We'd never been to Lanzarote before, and my wife and I are already looking forward to coming back next year. Raphial was cheerful and welcoming as the entertainment coordinator, getting everyone involved in the activities. We even made friends with an Irish couple through him, and everyone got along. The hotel was beautiful, with lovely rooms, great views, and everything kept clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly, including the breakfast team, and there was a huge variety of food to suit everyone. The pool bar and snacks were very impressive too. 10/10 for everything about the hotel.

The hill back from the beach and shops is manageable, even for kids and older people, though wheelchairs could have a hard time. There's a bus stop about 50m from the entrance, and a reasonably priced, decent-sized supermarket is a four-minute walk away. Local and Spanish brands cost less than UK or US ones. ChatGPT helped translate a few things. We've only been here a day, but the first impression is good. The rooms are spacious and spotless, especially for an aparthotel. We arrived at 11pm and the manager had dinner ready for us, which was a godsend after travelling. He was incredibly polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a good selection and plenty for gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
