We loved it here. The two-bedroom apartment was lovely, spotless and had comfortable beds. Ours was an end unit with a large yard, including a BBQ area and pergola. It was really quiet at night, and the yard got sun all day.

We entered on the upper floor, where the kitchen and living area are. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs, spread across two levels. The apartment felt spacious, and the beach and main street are both nearby.

There’s a private outdoor space downstairs, along with two bedrooms and two shower rooms. Upstairs, the living room is roomy and the veranda looks out to sea. It’s a short distance from the main strip, so it worked out pretty much ideal.

The floors were filthy when we arrived, my feet turned black from walking around. There was also seriously loud construction nearby, and it wasn’t due to finish until 2021. The duplex itself was okay but dated, with steep stairs between its two levels. Both bathrooms are on the same floor, so it’s not a good fit for anyone who might struggle with stairs. I can only give it an average rating.

We had a really bad experience. The buildings are old and shabby, and communication with reception was lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it.
