The location is fantastic and the apartments are in great condition, but our room was too small and covered in mould and damp. It needs upgrading. The cleaners are lovely, but the reception staff were rude, unhelpful, and completely ignorant. When we asked about the bus or a taxi, they just told us to read the board. We also asked them to call a taxi for an outing, and they said no, telling us to walk down to the taxi rank.

The staff were lovely, and the pool area gets sunshine all day. It’s a simple, clean apartment hotel in a great spot, and good value too.

The pool and its bar were real highlights, with friendly staff, good food and drinks, and a pool table that was always free. The apartment had loads of space, comfy beds, and a breezy terrace. We had a pool view from the first floor, plus a front terrace looking over the road towards the hills and sea, which was amazing. It was also an easy walk to bars and the beach. The room-only setup worked well, with all the cookware we needed, along with a safe and ironing board. One of the best places we stayed, and we’d happily come back. Couldn’t fault it.

The apartments are close to the strip but still quiet, and had everything we needed. The pool bar and Nicos restaurant were lovely too. We had a beautiful seafood paella for one ❤️

The beds were extremely comfortable, and we both liked the bolster-style pillows some people have complained about. The apartment had everything we needed, and for April it worked really well. The upstairs rooms had an excellent amount of space and a great terrace. All in all, we enjoyed our 10 nights. The hill is short and not too steep, just a few minutes down to the seafront promenade, where there are places to eat and drink on either side. Buses at the bottom of the road head towards Tias old town, then continue in a loop to Arrecife or Costa Teguise. Coming back from Tias or Playa Blanca, the stop is on the higher main road. From there it’s about a 10-minute walk downhill, past Cinco Plaza apartment complex on the left as you head towards Parque Tropical Apts and the Spinnaker Bar above Hiperdino Supermarket. My main issue was the lack of A/C. There was only a ceiling fan in the bedroom and living room, which didn’t suit me because cooler drafts can trigger inner ear pain and sinus problems. As it warmed up a few days into our stay, I opened the bedroom window overnight to get some air in. I sleep with a window open all year at home in the UK because I need fresh air, and A/C feels too drying for me. I’d need fresh air overnight, with the room cooled down before bed. Unless the apartments had fully working A/C to cool them between May and late October, I wouldn’t consider staying here again, which is a shame. I did notice some apartments seemed to have A/C units, but I’m not sure if they were privately owned, so it’s worth checking. Photos are mostly balcony views from Apartment 47A.
