Hostal Magec is in a perfect spot in Del Carmen, with easy access to shops, the beach, the bus stop and everywhere else. The Wi-Fi is great too. Yolanda is lovely, helpful and accommodating. There’s a language barrier, but that doesn’t stop her from helping us communicate and making sure we’re okay. If we come back to Lanzarote and stay in Del Carmen, I’d definitely return here.

It’s my first time staying in a hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised by this affordable little place. It was very clean, from the bedroom through to the shared areas, and the friendly staff got me into a room a couple of hours before my 3pm check-in. The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk from the main strip. There’s a kitchen, coffee, a fridge and a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean, so the basics are covered. No air con, but they provide a fan. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great location, and the beds were comfy. The staff were more than helpful, and the place was lovely and clean. For what I paid, I really can’t complain.

It’s a lovely, cozy place just a few steps from the beach. The people there stood out most of all. We had everything we needed, and every request was taken care of straight away.
