There’s a shop nearby where you can pick up food, which is handy, but the place is very old and needs renovating. It wasn’t very clean, and there’s just one pool for all the apartments. Dinner was neither particularly good nor bad. You also have to pay for Wi-Fi and for weighing your baggage.

We’ve just returned from five nights and it was lovely, just right for what we needed. The main strip is about a 20-minute walk away, but there are restaurants, a pharmacy, a shop and all the essentials right nearby. There’s no air conditioning in the room, but otherwise it felt like a lovely oasis. I’d recommend it.

I stayed for a week in May and was happy with what I got for the price, including breakfast and dinner. The location is spot on, in a quieter area by the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Block A is right across the road from the beach. My apartment, A33, was fine for me, though it didn’t feel very private: you enter through the balcony doors, and the balcony opens straight onto the staircase, so anyone could come onto it. The apartment was fairly clean, the beds squeaked, and the mattress was okay. I only needed somewhere to shower and sleep. The buffet was small but had enough choice, in my opinion. Breakfast was mostly the same each day, with some variation in the eggs, scrambled or fried, usually cold. Dinner changed more, with fish, pasta and two kinds of meat daily. Some dishes were okay, others bland. Drinks weren’t included. The waiting staff were good, and I’ve no complaints about them. I didn’t use the pool since I prefer the beach, which is practically on the doorstep. Reception staff were very helpful, and you can book trips or rent a car through them for about 150 euros a week. I’d come back, probably without the meals.

Tony at reception was really nice and helpful, and the rooms and apartment complex were clean. It’s a good place for a week if you’re after the basics, including breakfast and dinner. Outside the door there’s a Spar, pharmacy and food shops. The location is okay, and there are bus stops not far away. Taxis to the main strip are cheap, though not easy to find or book.
