Relaxia Lanzaplaya

The location is a big plus, with the beach and strip both an easy stroll away. There’s plenty around, and the pool area is clean with room to relax. Staff were friendly and happy to have a chat. The rooms are a good size, the whole place is kept very clean, and the beds were comfortable, which can be hit or miss in holiday apartments. It has a laid-back feel and seems a good fit for couples. I really enjoyed my recent stay in Lanzaplaya and would gladly return.

Breakfast was a highlight for me, and the staff were welcoming and lovely. I stayed all-inclusive but wish I’d chosen bed and breakfast, as lunch and dinner kept repeating the same things, like paella, chicken, pizza, and pasta. I didn’t feel they catered much for English food. The restaurant power also went off for about five minutes on most nights, and there was a longer outage across the hotel and our apartment on Wednesday, around half an hour. Apart from those issues, we had a great holiday. The hotel sits on a slight hill. To reach the pool and apartments you may need stairs or the lift, and some apartments have more stairs unless you book poolside. The area was nice, about a five-minute walk down to Puerto del Carmen beach, and the bus stop for Arrecife and other places is close. It’s a small hotel with two small pools. Accessibility could be better for disabled or visually impaired guests: the lighting was dim at night, the lift to the poolside was small, and mobility scooters aren’t allowed up there.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and I’ve already booked another visit, this time with my elderly parents. Danielle at reception was fantastic and so helpful. Please let her know how hard she works. We asked to keep our original room, 7214, and were pleasantly surprised they could arrange it. The complex is lovely and clean throughout, the staff are friendly, and the pool area is nice with plenty of loungers. People often leave towels to reserve beds, as happens everywhere, but the loungers themselves are in good condition and well maintained. There’s lots of food choice, with themed evenings for the main dinners. See you next year!

We had such a relaxing Christmas and New Year stay that we’ve already booked again for next year. The gala dinners for both holidays were fantastic, with loads of choice. Abdiel at dinner service was especially accommodating and professional. The staff made us feel very welcome, and management regularly checked whether we needed anything. The pool area is so relaxing, the pool bar is good fun during the day, and Diana behind the bar was professional and helpful. The evening entertainment was brilliant, with everyone encouraged to join in.
