Bungalows Velazquez

The location couldn’t be better, with restaurants close by, easy walks in either direction and the ocean right outside the back door. The pool area is lovely too. I even enjoyed swimming while the storm was on last week and watching the waves crash ashore. I’d been eyeing these little holiday bungalows for years and finally booked one. So glad I did, it’s my new favourite spot. The bungalows are lovely and cleaned to a high standard every day. We had everything we needed, very comfortable beds and plenty of seating indoors and out.

We had a beautiful room beside the pool, with a lovely view. The accommodation was great, very clean, and the staff were friendly. There’s a beautiful beach just below, and we saw the sunrise in the morning. It’s suitable for children, though it’s a busy place, and you can find everything you need nearby. Restaurants and shops are right across the way, with parking in a garage just a few steps away. I’d really recommend it.

The views are fantastic, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, large and clean, with luxurious, comfortable beds and a pleasant, clean bathroom. There’s a wee kitchen with basic cooking things, a fridge freezer, two-ring hob, washing machine and TV. It was mostly quiet and lovely, but the restaurant next door gets noisy in the evenings. Friday, Saturday and Sunday it was very noisy until late, with everything from vocal groups and saxophones to banging techno.

The pool and surrounding areas were well looked after, and the staff and cleaners were great. Our bungalow was lovely, with amazing views, right on the seafront and in a great spot for town. It was quiet but close to everything, and the location feels unique. The price was very fair. We were really happy we booked it, much better than many recent hotels we’ve stayed in with more stars and higher prices.
