I needed a cheap place for one night before a morning flight, but once I saw how disgusting and unsafe it felt, I booked somewhere else. I'd rather lose the money than sleep there. With reviews this bad, I can't believe it's still listed on the most popular booking site.

It's horrible there. I wouldn't recommend going.

I paid 35 EUR for a room that was absolutely disgusting, and saw a cockroach crawl across a pillow as I was leaving. The shower was just a head on the floor of a filthy bathtub shared with everyone in the building. Loud voices and banging went on all night. Getting there felt terrifying too: we had to collect the key from a bar, then were pointed down the street and around the corner, where lots of men were hanging around. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Worst room I've ever stayed in.

We left and found somewhere else after my daughter got scared. The appalling, unsanitary conditions were bad enough, and we could hear shouting and smell marijuana too. We'd booked one night and paid €67 for a room with a shared bathroom. At check-in, a man at a bar gave us the key and asked a very creepy guy to walk us to a building on another street. The entrance door was broken, the stairway was full of trash, and the bathrooms were filthy, flooded with urine, and smelled terrible. Our room stank; the blankets were torn and patched, the ceiling light had no cover, and the window wouldn't close. It looked out onto an interior courtyard full of garbage. We returned the key and asked to cancel and get a refund, but they refused. When I called, a woman yelled at me and hung up rudely. This is a scam and completely unfit for rental. I hope Booking.com removes it because they're really scamming people. I'll report them to consumer protection authorities.
