Duvabitat Apartaments

Our apartment block had a second pool, and our good sized balcony overlooked it and caught the evening sun. The main hotel had another pool, with a pool bar and activities through the day. Beach towels were available to rent from reception for €10 each, and the safe cost €18 for the week. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, with a wide range of nice choices. We also ate at the hotel a couple of evenings: dinner was €18 each, plus €3 for unlimited soft drinks or €6 for beer and wine. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and for what we paid, I honestly can't fault the place. We're thinking about coming back next year. The apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. The main bedroom had two large, comfortable single beds and a TV, and the smaller second room had one bed. The bathroom was small but just right, with towels, soap, shampoo, and body wash. In the kitchen there was a fridge, hob, microwave, cutlery, crockery, washing up liquid, and tea towels. There was also a bottle of water in the fridge, a nice touch after our late night arrival. The main area off the kitchen had another TV, a sofa bed, and a table and chairs.

The pool area was quiet when we visited in early July, which was nice. It took about 18 minutes to walk into the port, but reception can call a taxi, and there's also a free shuttle bus to the port until 7pm. Rooms were cleaned daily. Our second room was very, very small. Reception can lend you large beach or pool towels, so you don't need to bring your own.

We were surprised to find a two bedroom apartment for such a fair price. It came with air conditioning, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, and a huge balcony. We also had half board, with breakfast and dinner. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The apartment was clean and well serviced, and reception staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed for a few days and would recommend it, and are likely to return. The main downside is that it's some distance from town and the beach.
