Hotel Adaria Vera

The reception team were helpful, and some English is spoken. My room was clean and fairly priced, with a lovely sea view, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful bathroom. It was quiet at night.

For what we paid on Saturday, we really couldn't complain. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the hotel felt like good value in a peaceful area. There was plenty of free street parking and it seemed safe. The room was clean, roomy, and had shutters to keep the light out. Plenty of wardrobe space, good lighting choices, a decent hot shower with good pressure, and lots of TV channels too. Some things could be better for a four star hotel: a full-length mirror in the room, another towel hook in the bathroom, and a vertical rail for the shower head. We also heard an irritating sound like water running through a pipe, though it finally stopped around midnight. Corridor noise was noticeable too, but it died down during the night and things were quiet after that.

We had a spacious, comfortable room and the hotel facilities were good value for the price. I'm not entirely convinced by the four star rating, though. Staff were friendly, and the price we paid included a reasonable breakfast. In March there was lots of free parking available, even though the hotel charges €10 a day for its own parking. The several pools are for high season, and there's also a small gym. At first, room 222 was a bit noisy, with what sounded like running water and loud voices in the corridor, but thankfully it quieted down overnight.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and it's just a three-minute walk to the beach. I stayed one night in the off season. The room was basic and fairly clean, with a small fridge but no tea or coffee setup. There aren't any USB charging points, though you can charge from the TV if you bring your own cable.
