Marina Rey I

We’d booked four nights but left after just 40 minutes. The rooms were awful, the shower was disgusting, and the fridge-freezer stank. The sofa was miserable to sit on, and the beds were thin and rock hard.

The rooms are large, and it’s perfect if you’re travelling with dogs. Staff were very helpful, and there’s good parking beneath the hotel.

The location is excellent, close to Garrucha and more beaches and restaurants. Our apartment worked perfectly for two adults and a teenager. The hotel is a little dated and worn, though it was very clean, and the accommodation was cheap. We had a third-floor suite with a balcony and views, and it was worth the extra money for a family holiday.

The room had fantastic views over the many pools and apartments in the complex. Apartahotel Marina Rey also looks great from the outside, and the air conditioning worked better than in other places we’ve stayed. Maybe we’ll come back next summer!
