Camping Playa La Bota

We had a good shaded pitch for our motorhome, and the facilities were clean. The restaurant has a lovely terrace and good food, and every staff member was friendly and extremely helpful. It was pleasantly quiet in early May, and the beach was only a short walk away. We'd certainly come again.

We came in mid-May, when it was quiet during the week and livelier at the weekend. The pitches had good shade, with quick access to both the beach and a fantastic cycle path. The bathrooms were clean and modern, the restaurant food was excellent, and the marsh views were lovely.

The campsite is huge, and the wide, beautiful ocean beach is only a five-minute walk away. They didn't give us a motorhome pitch, which is fair enough, but left us in a parking lot at the side, quite far from the toilets and showers. There wasn't much privacy or comfort there. Pool entry costs extra. The restaurant serves excellent food, and there's a good supermarket too.

Our pitch was spacious and sandy, but some pitches have metal bars overhead. With my roof tent, I had to position the car just right to open it. There were also extremely noisy kids running around until late.
