Casa El Correo

The apartment was dark, cold, uncomfortable, and partly dirty. A dog lived outside the bedroom window and barked and howled loudly day and night. After three sleepless nights we were exhausted and left early. We reported the problem in time, but the host did nothing except refer us to the police. They refused to refund the nights we hadn’t used, which was a shame. We were insulted and told we were destroying the family business, when in fact this accommodation is ruining people’s holidays. Please don’t make the mistake of staying here.

Pilar was friendly and very attentive throughout our stay. The house was even better than we expected, and the indoor pool was just right for unwinding at the end of the day. It’s also well placed for exploring different parts of the island. We had a wonderful family holiday and highly recommend it.

After our excursions we could relax in the pool, which had warm water. Pilar was lovely and attentive to everything we needed, and the house was fantastic. We had a wonderful time in Puntallana, with great location and service and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

I was there with the person who posted about the barking dog, and can confirm it barked continuously for three days and nights. There was no way to sleep. Now the accommodation is posting artificially positive reviews through multiple accounts and calling us unethical. How ridiculous and shameful. It should be clear by now what game is being played, so beware!
