Mrs. Balbina was a lovely, attentive hostess who welcomed us with a homemade cake and bananas from her farm. The house is spotless, with care taken over every detail. Its wooden ceilings give it a distinctly La Palma feel and make for a very pleasant stay. It has real charm, and I’d recommend it to anyone, whether visiting alone or with family, who’s looking for peace and quiet.

We got a cake baked for us as a welcome, and the owner or manager was very kind. The house has a lovely sea view, beautiful sunrises, and a wonderful starry sky when the weather cooperates. The drive up from the main road is steep and takes some getting used to, and the way into the yard is tricky too. A car with little overhang at the front and rear and good tires is advisable. Our rental Megane couldn't climb the driveway without slipping, and when we drove out it always lifted one wheel (see picture).

The views are beautiful, and it’s incredibly peaceful here. My family and I are from Lanzarote and spent five days in the house, where we felt right at home. We had everything we needed, and the lovely owner even gave us a homemade cake. We’ll definitely come back.
