We really enjoyed the food. The mountain stew was excellent, and the braised pork cheeks made a very tasty main. Save room for dessert, the cheesecake is well worth trying.

Quintanilla has a lot of services for walkers and should be included on the Camino Liébana route, rather than making people take an almost 1 km detour. We stayed one night with bed and breakfast while walking the Camino, and I’m giving it five stars especially for how well it serves pilgrims. It’s the only accommodation open between Cades and Cicera. There’s also a restaurant in the village for lunch or dinner, with very good homemade food.

The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and spotless, and the location is beautiful. The owner was incredibly kind and suggested routes and things to see during our stay. We also appreciated the flexible meal times, especially with children. Booking adjoining rooms was remarkably easy, and the homemade breakfasts and dinners were delicious and generous. You have everything you need without a car. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely come back.

We felt right at home here during the Todos Santos long weekend. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with gorgeous scenery, and the owner was attentive and pleasant. The service was warm and friendly. We’d definitely return if time permits.
