The place is clean and fine to stay at, but I didn't like how the pet fee was handled. Carmen asked me to cancel my Booking.com reservation, supposedly to save me the 5 euro pet fee and her the commission, then charged me 14 euros for the pets. I wouldn't come back. If you're traveling without a pet, though, it's fine.

Carmen, the owner, looked after us wonderfully. She's generous and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. We also got to enjoy a queimada with her magic. We were three couples here for a few days, and the house and spectacular surroundings made for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely return when the summer weather is good. 100% recommended.

Carmen made the stay special with her company and helpful advice about the area. The place is quiet, tucked into nature, and just right for switching off. The accommodation feels authentic and welcoming, the mattress is really comfortable, and everything was clean. Breakfast and meal service are well worth it.

We could happily have stayed many more days. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and feels authentic and peaceful, surrounded by nature. There's no en-suite bathroom, but it's right next door and we felt so at ease that it wasn't an issue. Carmen is warm and efficient, cooks well, and makes you feel at home.

Carmen was so attentive and made sure we had plenty to eat. Breakfast was generous, with everything needed to start the day with energy. The house felt cozy, with reading corners and a fireplace, plus warm sheets and heating for comfortable nights. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
