Juan and Lorena were easy to reach and really helpful, and they accept pets. The rooms and apartments were clean, and the shared space is huge, with a kitchen, oven, microwave, BBQ, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. By far the cheapest place around. Absolutely amazing, 100% recommend.

It’s really quiet here, with walking paths nearby. The village is small and peaceful, and it has a municipal pool. July brings festivals, while in August the surrounding sunflower fields are beautiful.

The apartments are roomy and have everything you need, and the personal service was excellent. It’s a very, very quiet place, maybe a little too quiet if you’re traveling alone or staying for a long time. My one gripe was the flies, which made it hard to sleep unless you got rid of them first. There were also cobwebs on the walls and under the furniture. Otherwise, it was great. Those things are easy enough to fix, but they may bother you if you’re particular...

The location is very good for exploring the province. The room was acceptably clean and equipped, but the common room was quite poor. We booked through a well-known booking site, which made it seem like the accommodation had services that weren’t actually available, so things got off to a bad start.

The shared spaces were what we liked most. One house has a large room with tables, chairs, and benches, plus an indoor barbecue area, a griddle, and a gas paella pan. There’s also a dishwasher, a huge chest freezer, a sink, and cookware and dishes for a whole army. It’s a fantastic setup even if you stay in one of the rooms, since you won’t be short of anything. The apartment where I stayed had everything we needed too, so just bring clothes and whatever food you plan to cook. There were four families in our group over the weekend of September 10-12. We rented two rooms for four people and an apartment for six, and I’d definitely come back. The rooms and apartment were in excellent condition and very clean. The rooms have air conditioning and heating. We didn’t need the apartment heating that time of year. It was cool at night, but opening the windows was enough, and they have mosquito nets. There are horse stables around the house, along with areas for chickens, sheep, pigs, peacocks, and other animals. The Chorreras de Cabriel waterfalls are a 40-minute drive away. I’d bring groceries with you, since the nearest place to buy them is about 7-8 minutes away by car. Thanks to Ana, Juan Carlos, and Lorena for keeping in touch so well from booking through our arrival.
