The room advert on the TV wasn’t even for this hotel, and neither was the website. There was no hotel information in the room either. Room 2302 had balcony doors that wouldn’t lock. Maintenance was a joke, they never fixed them during our 14 days, so we moved next door after the first night. Food choices didn’t change much from day to day, and the plates were cold. The food was lucky to be tepid. There was no entertainment unless Spanish guests were there, and Spanish football played in the bar every night.

The views from the promenade were out of this world, and the beach was only a short walk away. We loved how traditionally Spanish the area felt and how easily we slipped into local life. Our little girl had a great time at the kids club, where the staff spoke enough English if needed. Most of the hotel staff could speak a little English, and a couple were very good. That was fine for us, since learning a little Spanish was easy enough. The food was excellent, with loads of choice for everyone, including coeliac guests, which pleasantly surprised us. There were lots of activities during the day around the brilliant pool areas. The staff were amazing, especially David at the pool bar and Tatiana (fifteen 😅 at the main bar indoors). As a family, we can’t thank them enough for looking after us from check-in until we left this morning. One of our best holidays.

The loud pool music went on until after midnight, and the windows had no soundproofing. This seems best suited to families on holiday. I don’t think it would get a four-star rating in other European countries.

The dining room staff were incredible, even though they were very busy, they worked efficiently. From the moment we arrived, everyone was amazing and nothing felt like too much trouble. We had five nights at the hotel and couldn’t find any faults. We’ll definitely come back when it’s cooler, so we can enjoy some walks along the nearby beach.
