We went for the food package, and the dinner Mariano made for us was delicious. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and had everything you might need for cooking. A strong recommendation for a weekend away.

Leaving the city behind to focus on what we really want felt like a dream. The carefully put together food experience was part of it, but the place itself has its own character, and I was completely taken with it. Bravo Mariano & Silvia.

The meal was a real treat, with sourdough bread and a menu that takes you on the journey Mariano has planned. They first ask a few questions about your tastes and can adapt a dish if needed, which I really appreciated. I love this kind of experience. We also enjoyed the well-chosen wines they recommended. The restaurant has an open kitchen, so you can watch the dishes being finished as you eat, including the slow-cooked food that's been bubbling away for hours. It gives the experience an added sense of authenticity. The rooms we got to see were cozy, charming, and well looked after. As for the cooking, it's spectacular: Mariano is one of the region's best chefs, and his experience shows. The local produce makes it even more special. Getting to enjoy a meal like this in a mountain village such as Surp is a winning combination. A 10 experience in Pallars Sobirà. We loved it! Thanks so much for everything.

Mariano's food is honest, authentic, and delicious, and the place fills all your senses. He and Sílvia welcome you like guests in their home and make you feel completely at ease. A small but wonderful pleasure.
