Everything was spotless, with thoughtful touches all around, and we all felt comfortable there, including my son and puppy. The homemade breakfast was fresh and delicious. It felt like stepping into another world. We visited last year and are already hoping to return soon. Pepa, can you come for afternoon tea if you’re not staying at the hotel? Terrible service. I called to book one of the five rooms for a June weekend, and we agreed on a price and confirmed the booking. But when I emailed to get that confirmation in writing, the price had changed. I said that wasn’t what we’d agreed, and Pepa told me VAT had to be paid and that she was cancelling the reservation. I was speechless. I explained that I wasn’t asking to cancel, only to keep the phone agreement, and repeated her exact words. I won’t repeat them here, they speak for themselves. Absolutely unprofessional.

The quiet neighborhood has lovely houses, and the well-kept town is an easy walk away. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have a typical country feel. Pepa, the owner, is exceptionally kind and attentive, and the food she makes is exquisite. You’ll eat well wherever you choose. I’d happily return.

The house and garden are beautiful, with everything so carefully looked after, and the hostess makes you feel at home. It’s also ideally placed near the center of Ribadeo, away from the busiest streets but not far from anything. Such a thoughtfully put-together place is a pleasure to enjoy. If you’ve been, you’ll want to come back, and if you haven’t, you’ll recommend it.
