Casa Rural Vila Pomar

The big grounds made it easy to enjoy nature and switch off, and the house is well placed for day trips to nearby villages. At night, hedgehogs come out, which amazed the kids. We went out with flashlights to look for them each evening, and it was a fantastic little adventure. We rented the whole house in winter for our family group. In summer, they rent rooms separately. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom, with either a shower or a bathtub. Casa Rural de Vila Pomar is a beautiful, fully restored house that still has its rural character. There’s a large dining room with a big table, plus another dining room with a big fireplace. We spent a few days there and highly recommend it. The hospitality was lovely, and we felt right at home. We hope to return soon.

We were 13 people, and the house had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the rooms were beautiful, and the whole place was impeccably clean. With the living room fireplace lit, relaxing in this fabulous country house was easy. Manuel, the owner, kept checking that we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

The house and its surroundings were lovely. We rented the whole place for 18 people and had a fantastic time.

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Outside, the beautiful garden had all kinds of fruit trees, clearly cared for with love. When we came back, Manolo was always there with homemade liqueur and a genuine interest in how our day had gone. Rosario and Luis were incredibly welcoming hosts, and Manolo deserves a special mention for being calm, friendly, approachable and helpful. Thank you, Vila Pomar family, for making us feel at home ❤️ I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll be back as soon as I can.
