I’ve never seen a place maintained this poorly. The walls were filthy and peeling, there was rust in the bathroom, the sink was clogged, and the sofas were covered in stains. The room was in terrible condition. Completely unacceptable.

The emergency room is right at the foot of the building, and ambulances woke me throughout the night. People passing by were noisy too. Rooms facing the back might be less affected, but you can’t know in advance which room you’ll get. The neighborhood also didn’t feel very reassuring at night. The room is a bit far from the center, though it’s easy to get there by bike, and the building was okay, with a comfortable bed and acceptable hygiene. For one night the comfort might be manageable, but a longer stay gets difficult: there are very few dishes, no napkins or space to dry them, nothing for cleaning the floor, and not even bowls for breakfast. It’s a bit expensive for what you get.

The mini supermarket next door was really handy, and the location was good. The apartments were fantastic, modern, clean, and comfortable. Since the building faces the hospital, you’ll hear ambulance sirens. They woke me a couple of times during the night.

We arrived to a place that wasn’t very clean, and then waited an hour and a half for them to send our entry code. At 6 AM the fire alarm went off and kept sounding for over an hour. There was no fire, just a false alarm, and nobody responded until nearly 7:30 AM. I was very disappointed and underwhelmed.
