Hotel Mediante

I can't speak to the hotel stay itself, but after the restaurant staff treated us so rudely, I would not stay here. We left the table because it felt like they thought they were doing us a favor, even though we were paying for our food. First, we asked for the menu and the waiter snapped that it was only available until 15:00 and we couldn't order it. I pointed out it was 14:54, and he told us, “you can leave if you do not like it.” My girlfriend is allergic to garlic. When we saw that the toast had garlic sauce on it, which was very strange, I politely asked if they could make ham roasts without garlic and asked in advance that the next dishes we ordered be prepared without it. The waiter said the Zamburiñas couldn't be made without garlic. I explained again that because of her allergy, simply leaving the garlic out would be fine for us. Then another staff member came outside and spoke to us very rudely, saying everyone eats that without garlic and that they cook it that way. I’ve never experienced treatment like this. I will not come back.

It’s been a few years since I visited, but I still remember how friendly and service minded the manager was. Great place to stay. La Botellería is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and its manager was great too. The menu had tasty food, really tasty!

The location is really good, the people were nice, and the food was decent. For what the rooms cost, it’s a great hotel.

I was very happy with the service and the location, and the view from the window was lovely. The rooms were comfortable and nice.
