The room was clean and fairly quiet, apart from what sounded like an animal chewing inside the wall or a cupboard all night, plus dogs barking. The woman who checked us in was kind, but even after I asked for one bed, we were given two. There’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms, so you have to go downstairs to get online. We skipped dinner, which was probably wise after seeing how much two coffees and a slice of cake cost. There’s not much around the hotel, and I’d only stay again if I were stranded nearby at night. Otherwise, I’d rather go hungry or try to find that rat in the cupboards.
