Os Muiños

This wasn't our first visit or even our second, and we're sure we'll be back many more times. The food is homemade and made with love, and the service is spectacular. The setting is idyllic. What more could you ask for?

The food was exquisite, with great value for money and a cool bar. The waiter was attentive and the service impeccable. Spectacular.

We expected plenty of kindness, but the owner was incredibly rude. From outside at the bar, he was already looking at us like, “get out of here.” The kitchen still had half an hour before closing, but they refused to make us a couple of pizzas to take away. The owner apparently serves whoever he wants. If they're friends, he assumes they're having dinner; otherwise, he only serves people staying in his hovel. As a restaurateur, that outrages me. There was still time before the kitchen closed, but I'll settle for leaving three negative comments about his splendid establishment, which has a lot to learn. It's either for everyone or no one. I'll leave the favoritism and lack of professionalism to him, since he clearly knows a lot about that. If he throws people out like this, I can't imagine what it's like for the people who come here on vacation. That's precisely what they make their living from, because otherwise there wouldn't be a soul there. I hope they close the kitchen for good. You can say that louder, friend.

The whole meal felt relaxed, and the place itself was beautiful. We loved the cod meatballs, the French toast, and especially the burrata and pesto salad. The service was excellent too. We’ll be back for sure.
