The room was lovely, and the terrace was a nice feature, but guests had to leave it by 9 pm when the receptionist wanted to go home. We couldn't see why hotel guests couldn't stay outside a bit longer. Breakfast was €12.50 per person and served from a menu. The person serving seemed annoyed when we asked for more, though at that price I expected to be able to eat as much as I wanted.

Breakfast was fantastic, with great coffee, and the little bar and terrace look out over the river and the rocks where the famous prehistoric paintings are. It's a lovely family-run place with lots of character. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the road made it a bit noisy, and we appreciated the bathrobes. The hotel dog was very welcoming. The staff don't speak English, but everything written there is bilingual.

The coffee was good, but my morning panini was barely bigger than my finger. Since I'm walking the camino, that felt pretty stingy. I was there in mid-June and found the room hot, so a fan would have been welcome. The room was nicely decorated, and the woman at reception was really friendly and helpful.

We were only here for one night while walking the Camino, and the location worked well for us. Dinner came with our half-board stay and was delicious, all three courses, followed by a great espresso. Breakfast was super too. A lovely room, a very nice host and staff, and a place I'd happily recommend.

The hosts were great, and breakfast was homemade and delicious. Our room was excellent too, with really clean linen. Such a great stay!
