The room itself was fine, but the location caused trouble. It's 3 km out of town along a winding mountain road I wouldn't want to walk on, even in daylight. After an €8 taxi ride out, the driver laughed when I asked whether they served dinner or if there was anywhere nearby to eat. I had to pay another €8 to get into town for a restaurant, then take another taxi back. In the morning, I got up at 8am to meet my Camino friends in town at 8.30am. I asked the woman to call me a taxi and thought she had. I ordered breakfast, which was very bad, though it only cost €3.50, so what can you do? After 15 or 20 minutes, while eating a toasted, stale croissant, I asked why the taxi was taking so long. She said she hadn't called it because she wanted me to finish eating first. Since it takes 15 or 20 minutes for a taxi to reach the hotel, that was extremely frustrating. Then, when I asked her to fill my water bottle before I set off, she charged me €2.50 for a bottle's worth of tap water.

I couldn't make the trip as planned because of a foot injury, but the operator handled the problem patiently. I'm really grateful. He's a good businessman.

Lovely views from the hillside. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel keeper was very friendly. A very nice hotel.

The views were the only positive part of my stay, and it's with a heavy heart that I say that. The room looked neglected, with hair all over the sheets and blankets, which is unacceptable in any accommodation. The bathroom was just as dirty. When traveling, you may not spend much time in your room, but you still need to rest comfortably and feel good about returning at the end of the day. Instead, the lack of hygiene made me uncomfortable for my entire stay. A very disappointing experience.
