Alemar

We stayed two days in April 2017 while walking the Camino Norte, which runs by this hotel. Compared with the hotels we’d been using, it was good value and well located, with good service, a clean room, and comfortable beds. I especially appreciated how willing the owners were to help us enjoy our time in Somo. I’ll stay here again next time.

Just average.

I’ve stayed in countless hotels while traveling, and nowhere have I felt more comfortable. My daughter and I were treated with so much warmth by Alejandro, his wife Maribel, and their daughter Mar. They offered us everything, even letting me keep my food in their refrigerator, and pointed us toward the best places for lunch and dinner. They’re a wonderful family, and I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in Somo or Santander. Just watching them live taught me a lot. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this place, or any of their apartments or other hotels, and I stand behind that recommendation. I’m including my digital business card to vouch for what I’ve said, not to advertise. Luckily, I don’t need to. A big hug to the family. I was amazed at how they could turn a simple toilet into something so beautiful and pleasant. The whole stay felt that way, full of beauty, attentiveness, care, and human values. May life be kind to you…

This is my third stay here, and I always come back rather than look for another hotel. The owner and employees are especially attentive and ready to help. The service is excellent, the facilities are unbeatable, the place is superbly clean, and the location is great. I’ll recommend it to everyone. Thank you for being so kind and helpful.
