The hosts were super friendly, responsive, and responsible. When we had a technical problem, they worked on it all day while we were out so everything would be sorted by the time we got back that afternoon. There's plenty of private parking at the building. The place is a family-owned historic hotel from the 19th century, converted into an aparthotel many years ago. Its lobby and ceilings are impressive reminders of that era, and there's a beautiful old piano.
Emma was an excellent host. She answered all our questions about excursions and planning the trip, then suggested even better routes and plans than the ones we'd brought from home. We booked a snowshoeing trip with her in La Vall de Núria, and it was spectacular. The house was spacious, quiet, pleasant, spotless, and finished perfectly. The back garden, with a river running through it, is so lovely you can fall asleep to the sound. A 100% perfect stay. I wish there were more hosts like Emma.
The back garden looks out over the river, and the beds were very comfortable. There's a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and free parking next door. The apartment is new, spacious, clean, and well equipped. It's right by the road, but soundproofed, and the location is excellent.
You can head out on lots of excursions from here, and the local food is fantastic. It's a lovely way to unwind and enjoy nature for a few days without taking a big trip. Everything was perfect for an exceptional weekend, and I'd recommend it to couples and families alike.
The garden is a paradise for children and adults, and nearby there's a bakery (the best!), a supermarket, a bar, and parking. The apartments are simply decorated, with good taste and practical details. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and we're already dreaming of coming back.
