Camping Vall de Ribes

I've stayed twice, once camping for two nights and once in the bungalow, and enjoyed both visits. The staff were friendly each time. Camping was pleasant, with flat, soft grassy spots for pitching, clean toilets, warm showers, and a pretty, quiet location, though it’s a little walk from the village. The bungalow felt like great value to me. It had one large bed and two singles, central heating, and a gas geyser for the stove and hot water. It was very clean too.

After a great day visiting Vall de Nuria, this felt like a magical place to rest. We brought a tent, though they also have bungalows.

The view was spectacular, and the town was about five minutes away by car. Walking there takes more effort, so you should be a good hiker. The route to the campsite is partly gravel, but still driveable, and my tent plot was fine, around 5x5 metres by my estimate. The receptionist was very friendly and gave me useful tips. Toilets and showers were okay and reasonably clean, much better than some other campsites I've seen. There’s a washing machine and dryer, but nothing to buy on site. A little vending machine with drinks and snacks would have been a blessing. Hope I can come back soon!

It was a bit crowded when I went for a night with friends, but it stayed calm and quiet. There are several summits to climb nearby, and even a modest pool, a nice extra at the campsite's low prices. Good services, a great location, excellent price and very good manners. Highly recommend it 👍🏽
