Posada Rural Las Mozas del Agua

The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was good too, with local ingredients served pleasantly by the host, and the bill was very acceptable. Dinner, the set menu, was freshly cooked with local produce and very good. We also enjoyed trying local and homemade spirits afterward. The host was friendly and helpful, and even though it was a cold day, we got a warm welcome and the heating was switched on for us. The room took a little while to warm up, so we had coffee in the bar while we waited. It’s easy to find if you follow the hotel sign at the roundabout and turn straight into the car park instead of driving around the village. There’s a petrol station 100 metres down the road, and Santander Ferry is an easy 30-minute drive away. We’ll definitely stay again.

Augustine, the proprietor, was so helpful and accommodating during our lovely one-night stay. The place was cozy and very Spanish, and the breakfast was great. Excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay again.

Pet friendly, with lovely food, a beautiful location, and such fantastic service. The prices were very reasonable too. Just wow, we’ll be back 😁
