The views are incredible, and it’s so peaceful and tranquil. This gorgeous rural property sits just outside Riogordo village, with private rooms that are fully equipped and several shared spaces. The swimming pool is a great size, with plenty of loungers. You do need a car to get here, but it’s easy to find and park. The owners are incredibly kind and respectful of your time.

Lukas kindly drove us into town for dinner and picked us up afterwards. That was especially welcome after the end of our first walk and before setting out on the next one, 13 km without a pack felt like heaven. We had a lovely two-night stop on the GR 249, with time for a swim between walks. From the nice seating area outside our room, the sunrise looked gorgeous. A simple breakfast got the day started. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with a big bathroom, a little kitchenette and a terrace overlooking the lovely scenery. There are impressive hikes in the surrounding countryside. By the large pool, we could unwind, enjoy the quiet and recharge, with beautiful olive grove views all around. The owners are friends of ours, and they’re such warm, welcoming people. Whenever we needed information or a ride, they were there to help. We enjoyed evenings together but still had plenty of privacy. Casa Paz y Más is a beautiful place, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! 🤗☀️

Casa Paz y Mas sits among olive groves, looking out over the nearby hills. It’s quiet and comfortable, and the kind, helpful hosts and their daughter made our stay all the more pleasant.

We’re back for our third stay at Casa Paz y Mas. It’s pure relaxation, with superb service, a lovely house and a great pool. Many of Andalusia’s attractions are close by.
