I'm from Cáceres, and the owners of this house were incredibly unpleasant. The place is advertised for 12 people, but it's only suitable for 7 at most. It was dirty and in poor condition. The radiators were blocked, the house was freezing, and they left hardly any firewood. There's no proper place for a barbecue, and for five days we only had two dishwasher tablets. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The town is beautiful, Mesón Barrero is amazing, and the people there are very nice. But I won't return to this place, and neither will anyone I know.

For that price, I'd look elsewhere. The place was dirty and expensive, with so much neglected or broken: doors that wouldn't shut, greasy pans that look older than ceramic hobs, filthy sheets, and foam mattresses that wrecked our backs. The shower screen wouldn't close, and anyone could walk in because the garage door had no lock. It all felt like endless neglect by the owner.

I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend the house. It was dirty, and several things weren't working properly. The place fell well short of what I expected.
