This was a restaurant review, not about the rooms. Alexandria, the chef, was outstanding. She took the time to guide two English diners through the menu, then made us two fabulous dishes. Thank you for looking after us. We hope you do really well in the future.

The staff were really friendly, and the seating was comfortable. monteluna has had a major renovation over the past year or so, and the furniture looks lovely. There’s plenty to choose from on the menu. We had three courses for €19, with drinks extra, and the starters and desserts were only €3 each, so you could spend less. It was our first visit, and I’ll definitely be back.

The evening didn’t turn out as the quiet, romantic Valentine’s dinner we’d booked for. We sat down at 9:30 pm and left at 12:30 am, with two courses and dessert still left to try. The tasting menu felt poorly planned. I don’t mean to take away from the staff’s efforts, but I hope they learn from this for next time. Valentine’s Day should be a chance to enjoy a relaxed evening with your partner, and I doubt diners who booked the tasting menu expected a dinner in a completely different setting. Best regards.
