Camping Arc De Bará

The staff were nice, there were lots of friendly cats, and the beach was close, though getting there means dealing with a tricky highway. I might come back, but I'd choose a tent or one of the larger bungalows. The small ones are very overpriced, and it was hard to rest with neighbors so close behind a thin wooden wall. Noise isn't allowed after 00h, but my neighbors ignored my polite request at 1h. I called security, and they either never came or didn't help. I paid 45€ for just three hours of sleep. I even wished I'd brought a tent so I could have camped farther from them. I paid 45€ a night for the smallest bungalow. It was very small, but that didn't bother me; it was clean and warm. The Booking description said it had a small kitchen, which was misleading: there was only a portable stove, pans, and plates, plus a fridge outside. The room itself was okay.

The staff were fantastic. We stopped by while walking, and the food was good.

Most campers seem to stay long term, and their pitches are packed with semi-permanent furniture, fences, and gates. It was crowded and looked nothing like many of the photos. We didn't feel safe, so we quickly decided not to stay. The kind staff refunded the €42 we paid for one night with a tent, without any fuss or questions.
