Hotel Acinipo

We had an 8 month old baby. The room was big, clean and had a large bathroom. I didn't like being on the first floor, though. There was a club on the street with loud music until 3-4 after midnight. Some curtains were damaged, and we weren't keen on the extra bed because the air conditioner was right above it. The location was okay, but the service felt a bit weird. They were kind, but it took a long time to get our keys. We went in June, and in my opinion there isn't anything special to visit in Ronda.

We had room 14, where both the roomy bedroom and bathroom face the bullring. The hotel is spotless, though some updating would help. Staff were lovely and always ready to help. Breakfast was a continental spread of cold cuts, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cakes, bread and rolls, with fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. It’s right in the town centre. Parking is in an underground garage about a five-minute walk away, and costs €12 a day, paid at the hotel.

The homemade empañadas were really tasty, and the people running the place were so friendly and accommodating. Our ensuite room was clean, had everything we needed, and felt like great value. It’s a couple of minutes from the famous Ronda Bridge one way, and the long shopping street the other. We’d love to come back.

Fouad, one of the owners, was especially kind to us. He spoke French, which was great since my partner and I are from France, and kept checking that we were happy, always with a big smile. The couple who run the hotel are welcoming and happy to give advice. Our clean, spacious room had everything we needed, plus complimentary bottled water in the fridge when we arrived. It’s a sweet, cosy, unfussy place for the price, just seconds from the Puente Nuovo. If you’re staying in Ronda, I’d happily recommend it.
