We spent nine fantastic days in Taranes, with Laura looking after us so well that we had no complaints. The house is spacious, very clean, and well equipped. Its spectacular, completely peaceful setting makes it ideal for relaxing and getting out on the many hiking trails. The Ponga Valley is one of Asturias’s less touristy areas and well worth exploring.
The house in Pongueta has lovely rustic touches, incredible views, and mountains all around, with the Picos de Europa in view. Laura was lovely, answered our questions, and suggested places to visit. We spent the Pilar long weekend here, and the back grill and bench were perfect for lunch or dinner, or just sitting as the drizzle fell and listening to nature. We arrived feeling 🪫 and left 🔋. We’ll be back with reinforcements, hahaha. Thanks, Laura, and thanks, Taranes, for making us feel at home ♥️
Laura and her parents are lovely people and wonderful hosts. The house is spectacular and so cozy, and the surroundings are wonderful too. It was a luxurious stay. We’d absolutely recommend it and hope to return 😊
