Hotel Arunda I

We had two rooms for two adults and two kids, and generally had no problems. It’s more like a mix of hostel and hotel than a luxury stay, but for the price it was fine, and we were satisfied. One room’s air conditioning didn’t heat enough, so it got cool at night, though there were enough blankets. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The historic centre is about a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a nearby car park that costs around €10 a night.

Helpful staff, daily cleaning, and a comfortable, clean room with an ensuite. We found it easygoing and good value for money. It’s not far from the tourist attractions, and there’s underground parking for a reasonable €11 a day.

Other guests were talking very loudly at night, right up until 1 a.m. I can’t recommend this hotel. We arrived early, and staff took our luggage and suggested we go for a walk while we waited. Once we got into the room, the TV reception was terrible. They came to look but couldn’t fix it. When we turned down the bed, the sheet was dirty, and they didn’t replace it.

Fantastic stay, thanks for the care and service. There was always something I could find for breakfast, everything was neat and clean, and the location was convenient.
