The local rabbit was mind-blowing, easily the best I’ve had anywhere. I cook myself and really enjoyed how inventive and tasty it was. The fish soup was hot and tasty, and the house red was a solid choice. I’d skip the garlic bread. My partner’s pizza was good, though there was loads of cheese. I ate at the restaurant only, not the hotel, and this rating is based on the rabbit and soup. It’s conveniently tucked down a side street just before Ronda bridge. We sat outside, where it was cold and windy, so I should’ve tried inside, but I didn’t see it. Maybe people are mean to the waiters and owners because it’s a tourist area. At first they were just so-so with me, then warmed up when I was polite and knew what I was doing as I looked through the menu for local dishes. I’d go for the local food here and skip the usual tourist offerings like burgers.

I really liked the Rabo de Torro. The meat was super tender and had a nice flavor.

The location is so good and the server was nice, but the food was a disaster. I ordered pizza and got a terrible ready-made one, oven baked, with tuna on top, the kind that costs 2 euros.

None of the five of us enjoyed lunch here. The dishes were bad, portions small, and prices high, with a 10% service charge added on top of the listed prices. The waiter lured us in while we were visiting Rhonda as a family group. Also, watch out if they ask whether you want bread: it costs €1.60 per person, so €8 for us. We hadn’t run into that kind of ripoff anywhere all week. Tourist trap, skip it.
