I hate leaving a bad review, but the customer service and communication were poor. We booked Sunday by mistake instead of Saturday, cancelled right away at lunchtime, and rebooked, even though we had until midnight to cancel. I contacted the property’s customer service five or six times and got no reply. The property is outdated, though clean, and its only good point is the location, literally a two-minute walk from Ronda bridge and the center. At check-in they hadn’t sent all the information or instructions for getting the key. I had to call and email several times before they sent everything.

The rooms were practical, but both the living room and bedroom AC only worked at 18 degrees, which wasn’t suitable in the middle of winter. The bedding wasn’t enough in those conditions. We arrived back at the apartment too late after dinner, so we thought it best not to bother the owner. The kitchen wasn’t very functional either. There was no outlet by the sink for the toaster the owner had provided.

The location was excellent and the apartment had what we needed. We were only there to sleep, and enjoyed Ronda, but the mattresses were terrible. We lowered the temperature using the heat pump in the living room and the radiators in the bedrooms. Otherwise, it was very good.

The apartment is right in the city center 👍, with basic amenities that work well for a short stay. We were there one night. If we’d stayed longer, I’d have missed having a dish drainer and a worktop for preparing meals. I’m taking off a star because it took so long to get the entry codes. We were left standing outside in the rain, asking how to check in 😔. The staff member had the wrong arrival date, didn’t speak English, and told us to contact them through Booking.com 🤷. We finally sorted it out after sending a screenshot of our reservation dates.
