We stayed with the new owners early on, and they were super friendly. They're doing an incredible job refurbishing the place. I'd highly recommend it once it's open to the public 😊

The place is closed right now for refurbishment, but it's in a fantastic location and the hosts are brilliant. It'll be fantastic when it reopens.

La Escuela del Campo has a charming, rustic feel, and the hosts are delightful and very helpful. It's peaceful, the setting is lovely, and breakfast was superb. The nearest village is about 10 minutes away, so it feels isolated. The rooms are dark and basic, with slow WiFi, a small lukewarm shower and old spring beds. It won't suit everyone, but we liked staying there for a couple of nights.

Beautiful place to visit, with nice owners and a good starting point for exploring.

Maria and Luk made us feel cared for and welcome, and the breakfasts were a real treat. Each morning there was something different on the table. The rooms were beautiful and had all the facilities we needed. We were lucky to find such a peaceful spot in a beautiful location. Thanks for all your hard work, Maria and Luk. Hilde and Geert, we'll definitely be back!
