What I’ll remember most is Marivi. She took an interest in my photography and even made time to help me get some lovely shots. We arrived with a host and left with a friend we still keep in touch with. Hotel Aire de Ronda is beautifully furnished in the newer part of town, with the old town’s sights an easy walk or short taxi ride away. Marivi is a professionally trained chef, and breakfast was superb. We also joined her cooking lessons and had a fabulous time. I’ve stayed in hotels, B&Bs and Airbnbs on three continents, and this is my favorite.

Marivi’s advice made a real difference. Her suggestions for places to visit, restaurants and bodegas led us to local experiences, with no tourist traps. She also prepares breakfast to suit what you like. The hotel is small but has a modern style, and the old and new towns are both about a 10-minute walk away. It’s a quiet spot close to everything we wanted to see. Marivi was the best host we’ve had, and we felt like friends within moments. What an amazing stay. One tip: follow her parking advice so you don’t risk a possible 200 EUR fine.

Marivi’s personally prepared breakfasts and her suggestions for hotels and tapas bars were both great. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the boutique Hotel Aire de Ronda sits on a peaceful street close to the city’s attractions. We really enjoyed our two days in Ronda. It was a lovely base for enjoying this beautiful town. Thanks.

Marivi was a pleasure to talk with, and her advice on what to see, as well as what to skip, was really useful. The room was comfortable and the interior is beautifully decorated. It’s a short walk from the historic, tourist and downtown areas, while the hotel itself is in a quiet spot. A lovely boutique stay, with attentive service and a delicious breakfast. We’d certainly stay here if we get the chance to return to Ronda.
